Thanks for getting back to me. I think I am on the hunt for a needle in a haystack but if I
don’t look I will never find it. They belong to the Aust 01 tree. Esther is person 17 while
her children are numbers 55 to 58. The youngest, Estelle Mary Jo(sephine) was not her
child. Esther adopted her after she was removed from her natural mother because she
couldn’t look after her.
She was born Mary Josephine Hore in 1918 to Rose Mary Hore and Bert McLaren and
was given to Esther to adopt. Rose Mary was depressed at giving the baby away and
took poison(not sure if she survived or not).
My interest is in the Bowey line of Esther’s husband James who was a bit of a black
sheep. The divorce papers from his first wife make interesting and entertaining
reading. I would love to find out what happened to his children and if there are any
descendants from him.
