Ches04 - Descendants of James Hulley born 1680 at the One House, Rainow

The 17th and 18th century surname of this tree varied between Hulley and Hooley, with all members being descendants of Jasper Hulley of the One House. Jonathan the eldest son of James, the head of this tree retained his Hulley surname and Jasper the youngest son called himself Hooley. Early members lived at Macclesfield Forest where Jonathan Hulley worked as a Beerhouse Keeper between 1757-1768, whilst the 19th century saw most members of this tree living at Sutton.
