Descendants of Benjamin Hulley who married Sarah Williamson in 1785

This family tree (reference Lancs05) has been constructed from entries in the St Michael's church Ashton under Lyne registers. After living in Hurst, Charlestown and Boston - districts of Ashton under Lyne - all members remained in this area until the late 1800s. Some of the male descendants were employed as bricklayers.

Latest developments April 2009

One more previously unknown spouse has been added to this tree - the one of Charlotte Hulley born 1886. The FreeBMD entry shows two possible candidates - Joshuah Mitchell and Joshuah Shaw, so both have been included pending further research or a sight of the marriage certificate. If you are able to assist, please contact me.
