town centre and spans mainly the southern side of Lees Road. Arthur Male father -
Robert Hulley spinner; mother Ellen Hulley formerly Welch informant - The X Mark of
Ellen Hulley Mother Sett Oldham.

Note although the family were living in Ashton under Lyne in 1845, Ellen moved to Sett,
near Oldham before her son George was born. This may have been because she came
from this area originally, but no evidence has been found to date.
