4. John Hulley

1773 - born at Saddleworth. Note: No birth registration exists for this person. This date has been computed from
information shown on the St Thomas's church parish register entry for John Hulley's burial in 1855 - see
below. He could be a brother of James Hulley born 1759 at Saddleworth (see Paf Yorks02). A James
Hulley was a witness to John's marriage in 1799 and a James Hulley lived at Broadmeadow with his wife
Hannah in 1788 and 1789. His father was called William Hulley and was a Clothier. This information has
been taken from John Hulley's 2nd marriage certificate dated 18 Oct 1841.
