The examples below are of entries with a reference to a former surrender, transfer or lease etc. Note the date reference on the third line of the first example – 30 Jun James 5 - ie 1607; and the date on the second line of the last example – 2 Sep Elizabeth 26 - ie 1584. These references refer to a Macclesfield Halmote Court Roll held at the National Archives.  If further details of these earlier entries are required please contact me.
