Ches11 - Descendants of Robert Hulley who was baptised at St Michael's church Ashton under Lyne on 29 July 1706
This family tree covers a large number of Hulley families who lived in the Stockport area of Cheshire and includes those families who lived across the River Mersey in Heaton Norris, Lancashire. Many of the males were employed in the hat-making trade and the women worked in the local cotton mills.
Note: The ancestors of Robert Hulley baptised 29 July 1706 are found on Lancs01 - Descendants of William Hulley who was born c1555 in the Lancashire Family Trees.

The marriage of Mary Hulley born 1837 to George Shotton in 1857 has been added to this FT. Also the marriage of James Rothwell and Margaret (nee Hulley) and three more of their children have been added thanks to information shown in a Rothwell family bible sent by Vera Higginbottom.
